- The Department of Botany in association with Department of Social Forestry, Government of Maharashtra, had organized a two day exhibition of Ayurvedic Medicinal Plants on 31st September and 1st October 2009. A display of plants under the heading of ‘Nakshtravan’ was also arranged. We had also organized a lecture on the subject of ‘Nakshtravan’.

- The students of M.Sc. Botany, the faculty of Post Graduate Wing and the P. E. Society in collaboration with the Pune Municipal Corporation had undertaken an activity of identification and labelling of roadside trees along the Fergusson College Road, Jangali Maharaj Road, Modern College Road and college campus.
